“To be honest, creating Sol Journeys in theory is one thing, anchoring it into reality by experiencing the formula first hand is a whole other adventure—not for the faint of heart. The wilderness is the best teacher and can bring us to our knees, literally. On my first backpacking trip ever, I was apprehensive that I had what it took to complete a twenty-mile journey with everything I needed upon my back.
“I am so grateful to have experienced the first Sol Journey with a competent friend who encouraged me along the way. Before we ventured into the great unknown I came across a quote by Mother Theresa which guided me through my challenging moments. I paraphrase: A sacrifice to be real must cost, must hurt, and must empty ourselves. Give yourself fully to Earth (God). She will use you to accomplish great things on the condition that you believe much more in her LOVE than in your weakness.
“With blisters on my feet and knees sore, I kept my sight on the path in front of me, one step at a time, each one taking my full attention. My trusted walking stick was my sturdy companion through it all. Sol Journeys invoked deep contemplation and insight while I took photos of the most amazing vistas, leaving only footprints. I am grateful beyond words for everything I received in canyon country with the Ancient Ones. I am forever changed. I look forward to see how Sol Journeys will continue to unfold and expand!”

My Sol Journey with Alicia was amazing on so many levels. We had an incredible wilderness experience, within which I was also able to process and release a mess of old emotional baggage. Through our Sol Journey, I was able to push myself to rethink my attitudes and approach to several facets of my life. Alicia helped me become centered in today and let the past be in the past. I returned to civilization lighter of mind, body, and spirit. I already recommend Alicia for Spa treatments. After my Sol Journey, I highly recommend experiencing an amazing physical and spiritual journey with her in the awe-inspiring wilderness. Thank you Alicia!

"Hello beautiful sister! Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart.... 1 year free from the seduction of Mary Jane and 4 months from being a mommy. My oh my the things that unravel for us when we say no to the prison and yes to spreading out wings! I've never been happier, cleaner, more awake. I thank you so much for being my witness and believing in me and my truth."

"As we started our intention filled journey the canyons lured us in with the lushness of their floors, with their grandiose walls, and their ancient secrets that we would soon behold. The first bend turned into the next and as we wandered I could feel the Earth wrapping its warmth around me. Each step I took was leading me closer to the profound energy that would heal me. The canyon floor was covered in beautiful grass that had been washed into a welcoming carpet, there were washes filled with swirling crystallized rocks that had been unearthed by flowing waters just days before.
As we approached the first alcove my guide anticipated what was soon to be discovered and encouraged me to climb the slick rock that appeared to be full of impossible steps. Once I ascended the steep wall of the canyon, I was presented with a gift left to us by our ancient family.
Pueblo’s full of hand made walls that were our ancestors protection from the harsh nature that they lived within. It was clear how much work had been done to create these beautiful homes on the side of a canyon wall. I delighted in the hand markings in the mud that held together chiseled stones that have proven to stand the test of time.
Petroglyphs were scattered on the walls as if to say, remember that we were here once. Hundreds of hand prints were the truth that all of this was made and lived in by men, women, and children. The clarity that this place inspired in me and the knowledge of what the meaning of life truly is was a gift I did not know I would receive.
Words can not describe the levity of my experience. I am forever grateful to my friend and guide for sharing the treasures that are forever sleeping in the canyons of Southern Utah."
