Our Gift
We practice giving more than we take. Our relationship with Nature is based on exchange, honor, and gratitude. We are not separate and there is no hierarchy. These are our tenants in the backcountry. What will you give? A poem. A prayer. A song. Something simple is all that it takes.
Leave No Trace
We practice outdoor ethics: Take nothing, leave only footprints. Pictures are exempt on most occasions. We do not touch rock art or structures, or keep artifacts we find. We stay on the trail when possible to minimize our impact. We pick up garbage and debris left behind. We leave NO trace.
Stewardship
We take care of our Public Lands and respect the those who lived here before and their descendants. We honor the traditions of Native Tribes, the water, the elements, and all of creation. We practice reverence for the sacred.
